Eleven ……

…… seems to be a word that stands on its own. It’s big enough to just let it sit there.

Eleven years since I’ve seen his face, held his hand, kissed his lips.

I no longer disbelieve that he’s not here.
I no longer think about calling him when something big happens.
I no longer cry when I look at his picture.

Eleven will do that to you.

I really don’t have anything new to say.
Life is good.
Our kids are good.
All six of them.
Most of you know just how huge that sentence is.
Our kids are good.

It’s been a good year full of travel, grandkids and New York.
I can’t complain.
Even when I do.

Life is good.
Even when it isn’t.

I will always miss him, just as I will always, always love him.

It’s so much better than one.

Thinking of you! Our Kingwood days are numbered! Ben retires in January, then we’re off to SC! Merry Christmas!

Hugs to you. We just finished our 3rd year of Best Christmas Pageant Ever and Emily player Beth this year. I always think of you when we do it. Glad you are “good.”
    Miss ya in Waco!

In some ways it seems longer than eleven to me! I miss you Jeanine – wish you and your kids a Merry Christmas! I only follow the girls on social media – would love to hear what all the kids are up to! Love to you!

Thanks, Malinn. I miss you, too. Thank God for FB! I’ll probably write a post at the start of the year, telling what the kids are up to these days. Merry Christmas to you and your beautiful family! ❤
